Treat Your Appetite Right

First-year students are stuck with only one real dining option: Hasbrouck dining hall. But for upperclassmen and those first-years who want to use cash or Hawk dollars, SUNY New Paltz offers a wide variety of food options: pizza, sandwiches, salad, grilled food, sushi and Jazzman's at the Student Union Building and Oscar's at night. Hasbrouck is always there for those running low on dining dollars or die-hard fans who enjoy the all-you-can-eat buffet.
Here are a few of my personal favorite food items you may want to think about next time you're wandering around the SUB trying to decide on dinner.
I consume massive amounts of salad, really just because I genuinely enjoy it. For those who may normally turn their noses up at it, the salad bar at the SUB has way more than just three different types of lettuce. It has a large variety of veggies and other salad fixings to choose from. On a normal day, there is usually pasta salad, cubed cheese, tuna or chickpeas to add, croutons and pretty much any dressing you could want
